Drive capacity, downloads/previews, transfer count and relay traffic are separate. Monthly usage resets at the start of the calendar month in UTC; stored capacity does not reset.
Direct browser-to-browser bytes do not count as relay traffic. Previews and repeated downloads count as Drive downloads.

How are Drive and Transfer different?
Drive stores files in your workspace for later access. Transfer sends files between browsers while both people are online.
Can people access a Drive file after I go offline?
Yes, once upload and checking are complete and the file is Ready. Sharing permissions and link settings still apply.
Does sending a Transfer save it to Drive?
No. Choose Upload to Drive when you want to store a file.
Are storage and transfer allowances separate?
Yes. Drive capacity, download and preview traffic, direct-transfer limits and relay allowances are separate. Check the full plan comparison.
Is storage per person?
No. Storage is shared by the workspace. Seats decide how many people can join; they do not add storage.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Usage & billing warns at 80%, 90% and 100%. At 100%, new work of that kind is refused until the allowance resets or you choose a bigger plan. There is no automatic paid overage and nothing is deleted.
